A Christ-Centred Foundation for Young Learners

Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie was established in 2013 with a clear vision: to provide young children with a Christ-centred education that nurtures their faith, character, and love for learning. Recognizing the need for a preschool where children could grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically in a supportive and loving environment, we opened our doors next to Doxa Deo Midstream Church, creating a seamless connection between faith and education.

From the beginning, our goal has been to honour God in everything we do, ensuring that each child experiences His love daily. We believe that education should go beyond academics, shaping children’s values, confidence, and purpose from an early age. With this foundation, Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie continues to provide a safe, stimulating, and faith-filled learning environment, equipping young hearts and minds for the future.

Doxa Deo se visie en missie vir onderwys is om Christus-gesentreerde onderwysmodelle vir kinders van te vestig. Ons doelwitte sluit in:

Onderwys: Om bekostigbare, holistiese en toekomsgerigte onderwys met uitstekende akademiese standaarde te bied.
Opvoeders: Om passievolle Christelike opvoeders op te lei en toe te rus.
Talentonwikkeling: Om geleenthede te skep vir talentontwikkeling deur kultuurdeelname en sport.
Leierskapsontwikkeling: Om leierskapsontwikkelingsprogramme aan te bied.

Doxa Deo is ’n kerk met verskeie kampusse en bedieninge wat daarop gemik is om elke sektor van die samelewing positief te beïnvloed met die waardes van Jesus Christus. Ons glo dat die lewensveranderende waardes van Jesus Christus kan floreer in die kerk, onderwys, maatskaplike dienste, besigheid, media, kunste, sport en die breër burgerlike samelewing.

Curriculum | Kurrikulum

Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie Midstream has been a safe and loving home for Centurion’s babies and preschoolers for over ten years, and we are proud to be a quality preschool. Our curriculum is based on the North West Curriculum, with Christ-centred teaching as the foundation for everything we do. This approach is grounded in Christian values and is complemented by the SAOU curriculum to ensure a balanced and integrated learning experience.

Our focus is on progressively developing children’s emotional, social, cognitive (thinking and ideas), and motor skills. In Grade R, we place strong emphasis on emerging reading and writing, teaching basic mathematical skills, and fostering creativity. All other learning areas are presented in an integrated way to form the child as a whole.

From an early age, we teach our children to be influential leaders who positively influence others rather than being influenced themselves. Our curriculum helps learners to develop strong character and self-confidence, grounded in Christian values.

At Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie Midstream, we firmly believe that the academic development of children from 3 months to 6 years is our area of expertise. Our daily program is structured to promote not only academic growth but also emotional and social stability, which is a crucial foundation for successful learning.

Through this Christ-centred approach, we give children the opportunity to build a strong foundation for a bright future.

Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie Midstream bied al vir meer as tien jaar ‘n veilige en liefdevolle tuiste vir Centurion se babas en kleuters en is trots daarop om ‘n gehalte kleuterskool te wees. Ons kurrikulum is geskoei op die Noordwes-kurrikulum, met Christus-gesentreerde onderrig as die grondslag vir alles wat ons doen. Hierdie benadering is gegrond op Christelike waardes en sluit daaglikse vernuwing in, met die ondersteuning van die SAOU se kurrikulum om ‘n gebalanseerde en geïntegreerde leerervaring te verseker.

Ons fokus is daarop om kinders se emosionele, sosiale, kognitiewe (denke en idees) en motoriese vaardighede progressief te ontwikkel. In Graad R lê ons sterk klem op ontluikende lees en skryf, die aanleer van basiese wiskundige vaardighede, en die bevordering van kreatiwiteit. Alle ander leerareas word op ‘n geïntegreerde wyse aangebied om die kind as geheel te vorm.

Reeds vanaf ‘n jong ouderdom leer ons kinders om invloedryke leiers te wees wat ander positief sal beïnvloed eerder as om self beïnvloed te word. Ons kurrikulum help leerders om sterk karakter en selfvertroue te ontwikkel, gegrond in Christelike waardes.

By Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie Midstream glo ons onwrikbaar dat die akademiese ontwikkeling van kinders vanaf 3 maande tot 6 jaar ons spesialisgebied is. Ons dagprogram is gestruktureer om nie net akademiese groei nie, maar ook emosionele en sosiale stabiliteit te bevorder, wat ‘n noodsaaklike basis vir suksesvolle leer is.

Deur hierdie Christus-gesentreerde benadering gee ons aan kinders die geleentheid om ‘n sterk fondament te bou vir ‘n blink toekoms.

Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie Midstream se skoolleerders kan soggens vanaf 07:00 afgelaai word. Ons dagprogram sluit af teen 14:00.

Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie Midstream se naskool bied ‘n uitstekende halfdag- en voldagprogram aan.

Die voldag program begin om 14:00, en skop af met ‘n gesonde middagete.

Naskool leerders moet voor 17:00 afgehaal word

School hours 07:00 – 17:00

Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie Midstreamlearners can be dropped off from 07:00 in the morning. Our daily program concludes at 14:00.

Doxa Deo Kleuterakademie Midstream offers an excellent full-day program, including extended care during school holidays.

The full-day program begins at 14:00 with a nutritious lunch.

Learners must be collected before 17:00.

MusikMakers

Young children are naturally creative and love to learn. As they use all their senses to discover life and embrace new and exciting experiences the world unfolds for them. Early childhood is a crucial time for learning and brain development and musical activity is a proven tool for engaging and stimulating young minds. Our interactive music program for children from birth to 7 years old are taught in a fun and inclusive environment that encourage the participation of children and adults alike..

Clamber Club

Clamber Club is a comprehensive sensory-motor program designed to promote children's learning through playful movement. Established in 1989 by occupational therapist Liz Senior, Clamber Club has expanded to offer various classes and services tailored to different age groups and developmental needs.

Edu Horse

Horse Assisted ECD program at your school. We bring the ponies to you every week during school hours. Early Childhood Development (ECD) encompasses a child’s holistic growth from birth to around age 8, covering physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development, and is crucial for laying the foundation for lifelong learning and success

RSD Rugby

Die RSD-program leer kinders om aan te pas en in 'n spanomgewing te werk na 'n gemeenskaplike doel met medespelers en afrigters, en dat kommunikasie die beste manier is om probleme op te los. Die vasberadenheid en doelwitstellings-vaardighede wat deur die RSD-program aangeleer word, kan na die klaskamer oorgedra word.
